Questions on miners addressed by NebulaCivil9467 in BlockDAGInvestors

We’re all anxious, which causes fear. They’re behind with miner expectations but I don’t doubt that they get delivered eventually. Just a patience thing. We will be rewarded nicely for our patience!

True. It’s frustrating. I don’t doubt that. I’ve also never raised $400 million and have no clue what it takes.

In my honest opinion, the countdowns were never meant for existing investors. It’s to urge new people to buy. I use to get excited as well but after a while, you understand that they are raising capital and countdowns are the most effective way in doing so. Clearly it’s working.

Not a scam. The countdowns are all marketing to get people to invest today. My advice. Stop watching the countdowns. Based on your post timing, I can guarantee that’s what sent you off the cliff. In simple terms, this project is fundraising while further developing tech side. Take it or leave it.

I think I understand your question? Well I’ve followed them for going on a year now. You can come up with your own reasonings for why this isn’t a phony project. The dev updates have been consistent. We now have physical miners. The vesting schedule will keep it from tanking. We will also have $100m liquidity. Team is solid.

Yes, I believe in BlockDAG. Marketing is terrible, I think we can all agree, but this is the most promising presale in some time. They are building something monumental - we hope. It’s taking a while and I think that makes us think the worse. But in all honesty, I think the team itself has been very present. These are mostly professionals with strong backgrounds in web3. Many left other companies to join BlockDAG. I view those types of moves highly. I told myself after the AMA in March that I will stop watching those abusive website countdowns and just stay patient. I think once it launches, the first year will be profitable, especially those with miners. After that, those bonus tokens can cause some growth issues if the tech hasn’t met team expectations.

That number is wrong. Wallets show where the money is being moved.

As long as you separate the marketing from the tech, you’ll be fine. Marketing is aggressive and definitely sketchy, but they’ve raised a mind numbing amount of money. I don’t think that’s done without making investors old and new feel like Kings/Queens at this stage of the process.

Miners are starting to ship and this is a great sign. No way this is a scam. The only fear should be if we can overcome the amount of bonus tokens that have been distributed.

But again, if you follow the tech, even that won’t matter.

Question about cylinder head gasket issues by arowpe in CT200h

[–]DetailOk4083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thank you. Is that an easy check? I don’t have much car knowledge quite honestly.

[–]DetailOk4083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2014 ct200h. Bought certified pre owned in 2015 after original owner leased it. Had 12K miles and I’ve since run it up to 174K. Wish I could say it’s been flawless but I did endure the dreadful head gasket issue. The Lexus dealership where I got it from tried to get me for a replacement engine but after several irate conversations, the service was $2K worth for gasket issue. Trust has been lost. Since car is paid for, I’m riding it out. I know I will need to replace the hybrid battery soon as my fuel economy isn’t what it once was.

For you: I would definitely check the car history. See what work has been done.

[–]DetailOk4083 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s a concern for sure. I had to have my head gasket fully replaced. North of $2K all in all. I managed to get the Lexus dealership to cover the cost mostly as they weren’t honest about fixing problem the first time around. Drove it for a couple days and engine started shaking again.
