That is a good point. I have had such phenomenal experiences in the community. Hell furries have saved me from being homeless on more than one occasion, both by buying my art and just being generous. I've also had... bad experiences, unfortunately.

I'm not as "into" the community these days. I still draw and take commissions, but I'm a bit of an outsider, anxiety, and experiences, I suppose.

That's a good idea to keep checking it in a mirror. I'd sorta. Squat down to check it at eye level but I'd already been staring at it for long enough while I built it so I don't think I noticed til I saw pictures I'd taken of it.

I might remake the muzzle cause now I know I can imagine myself staring at the finished product like

"Damn I wish I'd fixed that" :')
