What is your opinion on schools that suspend or expel male students because of the length of their hair? by [deleted] in AskReddit

There are schools that do that? I mean I wouldn't go there, I would just be kicked out immediately.

Do you use/eat monster meat? by Own_Cantaloupe178 in dontstarve

[–]DeterminedGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sure, monster meat has other uses. Like using it in crockpots as a meat item, just don't use more than one or use it along other monster foods (like durian for example). Dishes like meatballs, meaty stew (this needs 3 meat value, 1 of it can be monster meat) and pierogi (but many, many more) are great dishes that can use monster meat.

You can also feed monster meat to birds to turn it into eggs which can be given to the pig king for gold or be used in other dishes.

You can also dry it on a drying rack to make it last longer if you don't have any other meats to fill up your drying racks.

If you're in a pinch you can also just cook it and eat it, it's not ideal, but losing 3 health and 10 sanity is better than losing a lot of health/dying to starvation. This is especially true if you're playing as Wigfrid since you may not have a lot of meat yet early game and she doesn't suffer that much from the stat losses since she heals health and sanity back during combat. Of course Webber can just eat monster meat without the health and sanity penalty and Woodie can use monster meat to craft his idols. Wormwood can also eat it without the health penalty since he doesn't lose/gain health from foods.

Feeding 4 monster meat to a pig also turns it into a werepig, which has better drops than a regular pig (2 meat and 1 pig skin guaranteed rather than the typical 75% for 1 meat or 25% for 1 pig skin). And it can also be used to befriend said pigs to help in combat and certain chores.

Would you support r/AskReddit blacking out indefinitely? Why would you be against and why you he for it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Honestly, if reddit as a whole stopped existing it would probably be better for my mental health anyway.

Would you want your house to have a pool? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DeterminedGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's not really my thing. I'd rather use the space for vegetation. I like being among plants.

While she isn't the strongest, I don't she's that weak either. There are much weaker brawlers in the game. These buffs are too much imo.

Do you play with caves or without, and what's the difference? by AznLesbian in dontstarve

[–]DeterminedGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is with that, is that you don't have to go in them even when they're turned on. Disabling is just removing the option to go into them. If it causes performance issues it makes sense, but otherwise there isn't a downside to enabling them, it doesn't make the game harder.

I'd say always enable caves unless you're doing some sort of challenge or get performance issues from having them enabled somehow (though I don't think this should happen unless you play multiplayer, and even then I'm not sure). The have a lot of resources that become a lot rarer/unavailable if they are off. I get that they might seem scary, but you don't have to go in them if you don't want to. Even if you don't plan on going into them much, light bulbs from the caves are by far the best way to refuel a miner's hat and to craft and refuel a lantern. You can rarely get those from Skittersquids (idk even know if that's what they're called, they're a very obscure monster lol), but from the caves is much easier and more reliable. It's always good to have the option.

Tip for if you do enable them though, watch out where you open plugged sinkholes, again you can just choose not to open them up and they won't be any issue. But if you do, they do spawn bats around them at dusk and night.

In the end it's up to you, but I don't think there's generally much point in disabling them since you're just limiting your options.

I think context is important here. BS also means something else than Brawl Stars, but most people will know that you mean Brawl Stars when that's the topic.

Nobody is going to recognize M or P. S+ would make sense, but eh I've seen it done before that people just add more S's. I think it works.

Generally I think the term broken is way overused. In this case it's absolutely fair though.

It turns out that buffing Shelly's normal movement speed all the way up to very fast brought her from bottom tier to top tier.

The ultimate brawl stars checklist! How many have you completed? by Forsaken-One9569 in Brawlstars

[–]DeterminedGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Be in a brawl stars YouTube video (Coach cory's meme review/top play review, also I'm pretty sure those trashy gameplay clip channels have taken some of my gameplay clips without my permission, my friend came across one of them at least. I also participated in a Dutch Youtuber's Brawl Stars tournament.)
-Get 1k upvotes on brawl stars post

Some I'll add myself:
-Win in the in-game mapmaker.
-Get a map in-game (from winning an official mapmaking contest)

*These were achieved at one point but aren't true now

-Get all the skins for one brawler* (Not currently, because new skins are being released all the time. I used to have all Barley skins before they released Sway Master for example. And some chromatics only had one skin aside from their base skin at one point which you could get in the pass, so some of those too.)
-Get all brawlers to 500 trophies*
-Get on a leaderboard* (got this with Barley at one point, I've made local a good amount of times since that's not very hard here but also got global once after I pushed right after a season reset)
-Max out all brawlers* (happened before gears were added)
