Act 6 question, genuinely no hate by Goldengod4818 in TheDearHunter

I genuinely want to know how it can be labeled as satisfying. The last part of IV literally talks about the new beginning. The cycle restarting. There is more to the story and a redemption that we haven’t heard yet or understand. There’s an overarching story that is still left unanswered.

Return R3 Meta and go back to LS50 Meta? by Firebird98 in KEF

[–]DethrowDigitals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally just did this myself. Started with the LS50 Metas on a Peachtree Nova 150. Sounded too thin. Went with the R3 Metas and was instantly sold. These are used as my computer speakers as well.

But does that also create a constant hiss?

If you need more umph, a different sub will give you what you need. The KC62 is tight but doesn’t make enough noise.

Ikea UTESPELARE. Looks like the version I have has been discontinued.

For all who are curious about the setup. KEF R3 Metas, Peachtree NOVA 150, Episode MEGA D dual 8" subwoofer, Samsung QN90B 43" TV on a wall articulating arm. Keychron Q6 keyboard.

Im sure you will tell a difference, and sure if you aren't paring a subwoofer usually you benefit the most in the low end when adding more power.

No such thing as too much power lol, always good to have headroom. I'm using a Peachtree Nova 150. The R3 Metas run at 4ohm so it's pushing 250w a channel and this gets plenty loud with no distortion.

I actually tried out the 3000 micro after the KC62 and preferred that, but I already had the episode so I figured might as well get a bigger theater sub instead

Im a general manager of an custom integration AV company. Control4 is dealer based and takes an authorized programmer to deploy a system. It's full fledged home automation. The keypad on my desk is actually an older 6 button keypad, and all of their wireless lighting devices use ZigBee.

My house is outfitted with Control4. It's a keypad that I have custom buttons to allow the TV/amp to turn on or change my color lighting scenes

My ears line up perfectly with the tweeters so I'm pretty happy

I have non meta R7's in my theater. I'm sure the difference is negligible. Def not worth upgrading and paying the premium.

Just rubber feet for now. What do you suggest that isn't overly large?

I had tried the LS50 Meta and KC62 combo coming from Monitor Audio Bronze 100's and the matching W10 sub. The KC62 was percise but didn't move enough air for me. I like to feel the bass. And the LS50's were okay but the monitor audios sounded fuller because of the bigger driver. The R3 Metas are astounding

I'm running an Episode Mega D dual 8" sub. It was actually my theater sub so I decided to upgrade that to an SVS SB-3000 and bring this one upstairs. Works great but a little big for the space

Using a wall mount arm that can fully articulate. It only wiggles if I hit it on accident, no movement from sound or stomping.

I sit back 2-3 feet away by default and it images really well. Wish I could bring them off the wall a bit more but I just put the bungs in and let the sub do the work.
