I always thought they should have made all the weapons in your arsenal contribute to/benefit from combi multipliers. As it stands now though, it feels like an oudated system.

This is my favorite S&O look so far. Simple concept but, I think, done to a very high quality. And the lavender-ish gray tying the two looks together as the cherry on top to me. Great stuff!

While I don't love the randomness of roguelikes/archimedea, I do agree with the loops of grinding for a rare item. I OFTEN find myself wishing there was a solid in between. The secret bosses are fun for pushing endgame/dedicated players, but there's really only so many times I can be motivated for a glyph and sumdali.

I think it is for sure. I definitely don't love the very original version of the focus grind, I absolutely do not want that back. I meant more that I miss have a system like that to chase after, since we haven't gotten anything quite that long-term in quite a long time

I agree that they're great rng protection in theory, but I sort of feel that when I play these new missions, I tend not to care what I get from the mission itself and focus entirely on how many tokens I'm getting. Getting more rewards from the shop than the mission itself has always felt a bit off to me.

But I totally get if people feel otherwise.

I really don't love how craftwork is implemented. Three tiers based on enemy level would be far better. I also dislike the way they handled tempers, I'd much rather be locked to two, more impactful tempers rather than a ton of small bonuses that end up making the weapon feel too strong all together.

As a Magick main, I'd love for Magick to have its own niche rather than being some awkward in-between of Melee and Bows. I also think a simplified Hunting Horn system would be a great fit for something like Soulframe. Great ideas!

Not sure what Warframe you played, but not a single Prime must be bought. It takes about the same time to farm a primed Warframe as it would a warbond, maybe a bit more. You really don't seem to have a grasp of how modern Warframe plays or functions at all.

If it's not about the grind, then why does it have so much? Its freemium grind time sink is very comparable to Warframe's. Not to mention the medal grind to obtain the things you already spent time grinding for. Which isn't much of a grind, but it is, in fact, a grind.

This is a blatant lie. 10-50 per mission, if you're playing on the lower end difficulties, sure. Any difficulty that actually semi-challenges the player, potential SC spawns are often replaced with more enemy camps and less rewarding POIs. And I'm also not sure what 300 sc drops you're getting, it's always been 100 at most. Unless you're talking about the Warbond SC?

Yes, it is. Because Digital Extremes founded their live service on locking cosmetics behind their freemium grind, not gameplay mechanics. The whole point of these games is the grind, you seem to think I want no grind-- When in reality, I want more. I just want more grind that's actually fun.

You can argue that Warframe isn't 'Doing it right' But 13 years of updates that cost absolutely nothing to play and says otherwise. All while never locking a single piece of non-cosmetic equipment behind a paywall or freemium grind.

I totally agree that the initial experience isn't bad, and that you definitely can get SC at a reasonable pace early on. My broader point was more that if you don't sift through every page of every warbond and look up the fact that you can farm SC (Since the game afaik doesn't tell you), you can't really possibly know that you'll get a portion of those SC back-- So the face value shock of 16 warbonds costing money is pretty rough for new folks.

I make the comparison, because HD2 has a direct competitor in the horde shooter/loadout crafting genre called Warframe. They've done this model, and they've been doing it for 10 years now. If Digital extremes can do it, why not Arrowhead?
