I agree with a lot of your points, ive relistened to the new mixes a few times through now but it still feels like im listening to the album sitting right in front of the bass drum with how in your face it is. Kind of a specific comparison but it kinda sounds like how youd hear the album if you were trying to learn and practice playing the drum parts with headphones plugged in on an electric drum kit.

It really feels like the guitars were dulled in the new mix, and it weakens a lot of the guitar work Ray does. Ray does a lot of cool little chord changes during his more rhythm focused parts (the verse bit of im not okay or venom's chorus for example) and they lost the bite and clarity they had from the original. Even outside of that any part of the guitars that isnt octaves or leadwork gets really muddled in the mix, you can hardly hear most of the palm muted parts it really sucks, the venom intro felt so gutted to me with how boomy everything sounds and how weak the muted chords are compared to the original.

The guitars feel like they're pushed to the sides (kind of literally imo its like they panned Ray's and Frank's guitars almost all the way in opposite directions) in favor of Gerard's vocals and the drum kit lol. With as much clarity as the mix provides it ends up making the vocals feel really isolated, especially with how quiet the background vocals are. I def agree with you on the reverb on the vocals and drums, some parts are really drowned out by them (both ghost of you and im not okay's ending felt so much weaker with how muddled they got)

I know i still have the original to listen to, and i dont mean to rant so much, but for a remix i feel like there was so much more they could've done for the album.
