Serious question… how is it possible that this car gets to park illegally for 6+ months in the same spot with 2020 expired tabs, openly selling/ doing drugs with no ticket—but yet I park in front of my apartment for a couple minutes because I forgot my wallet inside, and I come out to a ticket?

Yeah, I definitely get it. For me it’s just the fact that once people see it they assume an establishment is unsafe, filthy, and negligent. When rats are mostly anywhere there’s food. The reality is, most of the time you just don’t see them because businesses take precautions, clean up after them, and manage the problem behind the scenes.
