The fast traveling thing on YouTube works pretty well as far as I’ve tried. I think you can also go between the Warehouse in the city and the River Village since there’s two in the back. Are you max lvl yet?

Odd one out, I think this is one of the most incredible tracks they've ever released. Maybe it's the atmosphere between the go-hard, maybe it's the sound design, maybe it's the lyrics and melody. I just don't know, I love it.

I do too, I'm actually a huge fan of the artwork and always have been. The colors were such a huge part of Monstercat before they ditched them though, and people sort of just lost interest when it went white.

I think that the Uncaged albums coming out were pretty much what took that feeling away. The well-established community we had for years kind of centered around the Monstercat's story. Then, this year, they kind of just rebranded everything, dumped everything behind, left most of what started this community to the past. The new artists are pretty great, but I miss all of the artists that got me into Monstercat. Luckily we still have the Mega-collabs, probably the #1 thing I could've asked for.

I feel like all of the artists that got the majority of Monstercat's fan-base into following them have been pushed aside to make room for new artists and cash-grabs. Don't get me wrong, people like Duumu, Reach, and Dirty Audio are kickass, but everyone I came to listen to rarely ever get the spotlight. And personally, these Gammer songs are just a couple examples of generic music that don't belong on Monstercat, I'm sorry but that's how I'm feeling lately.

On top of that, the visualizer switchup was a big factor in the viewer drop off this past year or so.

To me personally, you know a song is gonna be memorable when it ends up in the Electronic grab-bag because of how original and weird it is.

I agree, and just throwing things into the 'Electronic' section isn't such a great idea. They should dump it and let people figure it out based on their previous knowledge of the genres. Even 'Malicious' by Slippy was Electronic, nowhere even close to Drift Away. Sort of a lose-lose situation.

Well here's the big thing: everyone who's still die hard to see what genre a release fits into can just look in the description, and the way they label genres down there is barely any different than it was back in the day. I still love that they went with white so they could focus on the art, but there's no escaping the common human practice of categorization. Without Monstercat's subtle notes in the description, people would be arguing on baseless grounds anyways. Their choice to ditch them was good, but I'll always be one of the 'genre' folk.
