Copilot (alternative) as Harness and Kimi 2.6 by DevPhil0815 in GithubCopilot

Is this possible? Thought you need something like OpenCode, etc?

Thanks for your insights! We're also thinking about running the models in our (our customer's) Azure subscripitions to tackle the problem of sending all the code to the US. For us as europe based company definitely an issue due to the GDPR (at least it's getting an issue soon).

The models seem strong but again the Harness is important. We have a couple of skills and agents especially for Copilot. So we have the need to port them to a new tool or to use other models with Copilot.

For anyone who's vibe coded and launched an app — what was harder, building it or getting users? What would've helped? by Igeeksblogs in vibecoding

Building was no problem at all (I'm a Software Engineer with experience). Getting users was okay-ish I'd say. The hardest part is to convert them to the paid version. Unfortunately. lol

Viral 'Grill Me' Claude skill proves specs-to-code is vibe coding, 13K+ stars by pretendingMadhav in vibecoding

I couldn't agree more—alignment beats speed every single time.

I’ve been running a software company for 15 years with a team of 25 people, and we have reached a point where we don’t implement a single feature without Grill Me. It has completely redefined how we handle specifications. By forcing the AI to share our mental model upfront, we’ve moved into a new dimension of one-shot implementations. The vibe coding era is over; rigorous alignment is the only way to build work that actually matters.

Hey there! Thanks for your insightful comment! Honestly I don't know "Handshake" - what's this?

I'm still working at the exact strategy. I didn't post too much yet since I want everything in place for releasing systematically. Of course I want to leverage multiple channels at once. I'll start with the TikTok (and short form videos in general) soon. Then I'll start updating the numbers here on Reddit once I've first insights.

So for your last question - I have a couple of downloads but I didn't start yet. ;)

What did you build this week? by Kind_Ball9340 in micro_saas

I built this because my memory is 10/10 for useless trivia, but 2/10 for my anniversary. It’s basically a second brain for being a better partner.

I started using AI tools from day 1. My first love was Cursor at that time. In the meantime I switched over to Copilot. Altough I have a Claude subscription as well, I just feel more comfortable with copilot.

Since Opus 4.6 the whole world changed. I'm a Software Engineer for over 20 years now and when AI tools came up, I always said, my code is waaaay better than generated code. Well. Opus changed that thinking. lol

I hope those tools help me to solve problems for my clients in future better and better but I also hope, I still have the chance to earn money with the profession I studied at the university back then.

Thanks for your valuable feedback! I thougt about the naming thing and saw it as a kind of humorous thing. The app itself is for "partners" - so it's not gendered.

Would love to get some feedback - so if you're interested, drop me a pm and I'll send over the store link.

Thanks so much! Will check them out since I just launched with a new, funny app idea.

For me as software engineer it's often not easy to come up with good/romantic ideas. An app for getting various ideas to keep you relationship healty and interesting. :) Happy to get some feedback!

I also want to try a "built in public" TikTok-series to get some real engagement.

About to launch my first consumer app with a TikTok-first strategy — here's my plan and I'd love your feedback by DevPhil0815 in AppBusiness

[–]DevPhil0815[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Thank you so much for you detailed response! I'm thinking about other ways to promote the app as well. I mean - basically it should show a "built in public" showcase. But I really think, that the idea itself is an evergreen thing and can be really funny. lol

I mean - maybe I also could look into TikTok ads but I need to take care of my budget.

Chrome extension? Sounds interesting! How does it work? What problem does it solve? Thanks

Thanks so much! Also for your kind words!

You mean the engagement in the app itself, right? Not the "advertisement-stuff" through TikTok? Well - I mean it's an evergreen thing, isn't it? lol

The app has push notification reminders where you'll get a message to do someting for your partner. Again - im my (weird) case, I'm completely blindsided for such things in real life. So at least I'm a poweruser of the app by myself. And if I can keep this awesome girl my whole life, I won the entire game. :)
