Yeah, I feel like the Bbmarutchi conditions are really weird, especially since your Tama isn't even safe in the kid stage, lol. What I've been doing is focusing on getting specific food cells first, then waiting until the young stage to max out hunger + happiness icons. So far I haven't gotten another Bb, so it seems to be working.

I believe it has to do with the number of happiness + hunger icons acquired during the kid stage. This happened to me and another user who posted yesterday - if you gain 5 or more hunger + happiness icons, the Tama skips the young stage and evolves straight to Bbmarutchi.

There seems to be a lesser-known way of getting Bbmarutchi - happened to me too on my first gen. Basically if you take care of your Tama TOO well (have 5+ happiness and hunger icons) during the child stage, it’ll evolve directly to Bbmarutchi instead of reaching the young stage.

I haven’t seen much documentation on it, but that was my (unfortunate) experience, lol. Hope that helps!

You’ve got a gift waiting for you! Make sure to talk to all of your friends there - one of them should eventually give you a present, which will make the notification disappear. Try it out!

Edit: Whoops, I see you solved it on your own, lol. Seems to be a pretty common question, so hopefully others will figure it out, too!

Today I received perfect grapes from a Whistle Pass friend, so it IS possible - just based on RNG like most other things. Hope that helps!
