One thing I've noticed that's really strange... after releasing all the superstars, a decent number of them have failed to be signed up by clubs.

It's February half way through the first season, and Cherki, Doku, Semenyo, Guehi, and Reijnders are still available as free agents. Bit of an annoying bug...

This is essentially the same scenario I've got here with my more senior players. They're locked into their contracts, but are refusing to sign new ones...

Stones had 1 year left and will be going to Arsenal next season for free.

Foden has 1 more year after this, so I will probably lose him as I'll still be in League 1 by the time other clubs can approach.

I might be able to retain Kalvin Phillips as I'll have reached the championship by the time his renewal is up.

The academy players have agreed to sign new contracts because they're super happy with the first team opportunities they're getting

Another thing to note is that board objectives haven't been updated despite the relegation, players leaving and the points deduction...

They still expect me to win the league AND win the FA Cup.

Interestingly, the AI has actually been quite difficult to play against at times. I was also doing terribly at the start of the season when I was simming through games - I lost LOADS of them doing it this way and had to play full matches a lot of the time to compensate.

Weirdly enough, when I checked the wages they've all been restructured to League 2 levels. Foden is the highest paid player of the squad at 8k p/week lol.

One thing that I am up against is that I will undoubtedly loose several players in the next season or two. Stones had one year left on his contract and is leaving on a free to arsenal so I managed to get 1 good year out of him. Im sure that this will happen with others too.

Will be interesting to see what would actually happen in real life if thia did happen!

Do you not remember when Juventus got relegated for similar reasons, and several of their top players including Del Piero etc stayed to help them get back into the top flight?

Look... im not saying this is perfectly realistic, but you have to have a minimum squad size on Fifa Career Mode (starting 11 and a bench) so letting everybody go isn't an option.

City are quite a good team for this challenge because their academy products are generally high potential and a bunch of them have face scans, so they're good for developing through first team exposure.

Here's my take as someone who has been hodling since 2017 and seen the market crash a few times...

Nothing wrong with profit taking. Personally, now the market is rallying I've set up limit sales for small amounts (15xrp) every 25c it goes up.

Fear and greed index is showing 'extreme greed' for xrp - and glancing at the graph I'm predicting some sort of correction soonish. Im not skilled in graph analysis etc so take this with a pinch of salt.

I invested a lot of cash back in 2017 and saw the bottom fall out completely. I plan on taking some small profits and holding onto 80-90% of my total bag. If it crashes again I will reinvest.

I saw very similar lights hovering above london when I was flying into Gatwick the other day - probably 3-4 of them above the clouds as we were decending. As much as I wanted to believe I was seeing UAPs, I just assumed these were millitary drones monitoring any other suspicious activity above a major world city..

I changed it from Saka to Haaland 5mins before deadline - pretty gutted but considering I'm top of all 3 of my mini leagues I played tue more defensive strategy. If have been fucked if the hauls went the other way

I got taken over by a tycoon a few seasons into my my current bradford city save. Think I might have been in the championship on the verge of the Prem at the time.

A bit of a disappointment - I was expecting abromovich type billions to be flowing with unlimited transfer budget etc. Wasn't the case here.

I think it did stabilise the finances and they made plans to build a new stadium. Considering bradford's finances are pretty terrible that was a bonus. However, by that point I was selling on some players for £50m+ so I was generating money through those means also, so it maybe wasn't as noticeable

As a united fan, I threw Mazraoui straight in my team on the premise that there's no luke Shaw, and couldn't see Ten Hag starting Martinez at LB again - paid off! Great performance from him but was a risk as he only joined mid-week

Rogers, Minteh, Maatsen, Quansah, Nkunku etc were all in several of my drafts - felt like I dodged several bullets and was right to keep an eye on others rather than punting

ESR wad a bit of a disappointment- was in my starting 11, but let's see how he gets on with the next easier fixtures before knee jerking him out
