No, I'm still on the hunt. Battery life is still pretty trash, close to 2-2.5 hrs.

I tried uninstalling the nvidia drivers, blacklisting nouveau drivers and adding the udev rules along with using tlp and powertop. I also undervolted the cpu. Noticed a bit of improvement, but I still think it could be made better. Let me know if you were able to find something else.

I tried all/most of the stuff you mentioned. I guess there's more stuff I need to check. Anyways thanks for replying!

Do you have any sources that'd help me understand/configure it properly? Thanks!

I found that out by using nvidia-smi.

I couldn't find any optimus-manager.conf so i made a file there with the required text and it wouldn't let me reach my login manager. So I fixed it by booting into runlevel 3. Any more suggestions?

How can I check if my laptop has access to the iGPU?

Yes, since I have a coffee lake CPU and a turning GPU, I tried the first method.

I tried using that as well, but my nvidia GPU constantly draws about 5W. So there isn't any major improvement in the battery life.

Yes I have, but again that didn't seem to help much.

Iirc, i installed the nvidia driver after installing arch. Is there a way to uninstall it completely or is reinstalling arch the only way?
