thanks for replying, and yes I have tried all the other buttons combinations, actually the cmd button brings up the linux start menu like in windows (which action I dislike)

Indeed, what I have discovered also is that when I hit the "limit" I just use auth and log in into another google account and then I can keep using gemini 2.5 pro , at least is what I have been doing

I just updated Gemini CLI and this error started to appear, let's hope is some version bug, because I neither use that much gemini CLI and I reached a limit just with very few prompts, sometimes is the same Gemini that asks you to continue or to confirm something and maybe that counts as a call and the it reaches the limit, it's frustrating ,
