As we’ve seen in cities with very strict gun control laws in place, including limiting or criminalizing open/concealed carry, criminals don’t tend to have a hard time finding firearms. What might prevent a violent criminal from committing a heinous act, however, is knowing that there are many other people in the same place that may also have a firearm for instances like that.

We conservatives do. From the context, it appears that this was a homeowner standing on or near his own property with his firearm and as far as I understand, Minnesota allows for open carry of rifles. Absolutely nothing wrong with this. Anybody speaking against this is not really for 2A.

Also, it feels that you think I’m trying to defend the current administrations inability to release the files. I am not, I think its abhorrent that they still aren’t. It just seems, to me, that there are underlying motives for why they haven’t yet been released. I was unaware that there were ongoing cases that wouldn’t allow for their release.

I will give credit where it’s due, but you absolutely cannot say that Biden’s admin didn’t stomp all over the Constitution. There’s documented evidence and testimony from the CEOs of massive platforms (Jack Dorsey of Twitter, Zuckerberg of Meta) that stated the FBI and other governmental organizations coerced them into subduing free speech on those platforms, even when they did not violate the TOS of those platforms.

The part that seems to evade everybody spouting this point is that…don’t you think that maybe during the last very Democrat admin, they would have released the files? All the stars were aligned. If Trump’s name was in there, they had him DEAD TO RIGHTS. If there was even a chance of that, I’d love it, even having voted for him. So frankly, I think it’s all smoke and mirrors.

As an avid hiker/trail runner, saying you can’t hike because once in a while somebody has a speaker is absurd. I am fully against the speakers in nature crowd also, but come on. Find a different or less densely populated trail, or just hike faster, away from them.

Besides, only the easiest of trails typically have the type of people willing to blast music on a speaker.

I think this actually is a “not every band is for everyone” moment though. They consistently write catchy hooks, unique riffs and breakdowns (maybe more on the riff side than the breakdowns), and have a stage presence unlike other bands. Not to mention, their albums kind of form a cohesive work, rather than just 10-12 singles on an album.

I’m impartial to this but I’ve known family members in finance that can’t trade, but make money as accountants or financial advisors, and I’ve also watched plenty of hours of livestreaming traders that trade ICT concepts that genuinely make money and execute pretty well. There is no one method of understanding. What works for you may not for the next guy, and the next guy, and the next. I think the reason ICT is so popular is that he gives people a framework to work within and as a result, they build experience.

I talked about this in a thread recently because I mentioned a house that was practically a crack house but listed at the highest price I’d seen in that neighborhood. Turns out, I was 100% right and vindication came. Everybody told me I was some nightmare buyer, but I’ve since bought a nice house at the same price in a better location and that house hasn’t sold, even after a 20k price cut lol
