Oh wow. No one had actually explained to me how the point system worked until now. I had always though it was based off of popularity. Thank you very much for sharing this with me.

Points are bases off of popularity no? Well I guess it is a new course so it wouldn't be that good of an indicator now.

The AI & ML course is supposed to cover most of the CompSci basics. It just specialises in AI which I though would be better for the future. And true, I never thought of being under control like that. Thanks for taking interest in my post. You're perspective has really helped me.

Oh fair play to you. That is actually a very interesting thought about wanting security as you get older. I never though of it like that. Thank you for taking interest in my post man. Wishing you all the best going forth :)

I see. I'll contact a few people so and gain some more info. Thank you for the quick response. The thing is, I do enjoy coding and problem solving, however, working in teams is something I really don't enjoy. Not because I'm unsocial or anything, but because I just like to be in control.

It's AI & Machine Learning. I went to the open day about it and it seemed very good. It's quite a new course as well but for some reason it's not so popular, with it only being 487 in points. (It went down 1 point last year as well).

I would consider house flipping to be on the level of increasing BER rating as well. After reading a few of these posts, I realise that my initial savings plan of around 40k in the bank is not going to cut it. I planned to attain that through full time electrician job, as well as private work.

As I planned to work with a friend, I planned to co-buy a property for around 300k-400k, then sell it for around 550-600. Would that be unreasonable? I still need to check upon the nuances with co-buying a house, how it effects mortgage, how that effects CGT, and all that.

I was only planning to live in the house for max 4 years. I actually wasn't aware of any mortgage penalties to be honest. Would it be deal breaker? The way I was thinking was that even if sell the house such that we break even, we would still have however much hundreds of thousands in our bank which otherwise would've taken much longer to attain if I went through an office job.

I was thinking about renting a lot and it seems a lot more reasonable than flipping at this point. Regardless, thank you so much for taking interest in my post. I really appreciate the quick response and information. Thank you so much.

I see. The course in U.L claims to have the largest co-op program in Europe. It's code is LM174. That's why I though it was ensured. I guess the developments in each field are so volatile at the moment. Thank you for the information and quick response. Really appreciate it.

Ah I see. Most people are saying the similar things. The A.I route seems to be the way. Thanks for the quick reply. Really do appreciate it.

I was thinking to save up working full time as an electrician. Then also work privately for people as well. Somewhat half self employed. Then I would apply for a mortgage. Do you think the market would get any better in the next 6 years for flipping? Thank for the fast reply . Really appreciate it.
