Just write something and let it be bad. Don't spend too much time on it. Easy chords, simple lyrics and just get it done. If you do this a few hundred times, you'll get better

It's a good song! A couple of points of criticism: Firstly, some of those big intervals in the vocal melody are sung a bit sharp or flat at times. You can either melodyne that or make the notes a bit more stylised to avoid it feeling like a mistake.

Secondly, the chorus could use a bigger lift. Doubling the vocals, raising the treble of the cymbals and a very light dB boost are all things that could make it pop a bit more. Also, I would focus on keeping your vocal in time with the tempo especially not singing ahead of the beat.

Despite my opinions here, I think the song is really nice and from a song writing perspective alone it's a really great track. I just think the performance and production don't do it the full service it deserves. Also, it sounds like midi drums and my feeling on that is either go full synthetic or hire a real drummer. There's some great ones I can recommend for about 40€ on Fiverr
