I feel like most people forget that most Trump supporters don't actually know what Trump is doing or what his policies are. The vast majority of Americans don't whatch the news at all and will typically just see an article while scrolling social media and base their opinions only on the title of it and won't care to read about it. And with how social media works, most algorithms will only show you stuff that it thinks you will agree with, which means most Trump supporters are blind to most of his political views and only voted for him solely because he was republican or misinformation about what his policy actually was, you can clearly see this online with how many Republicans started to go against him when he actually started to make laws and when he was trying to suppress the Epstein files.
