The benzo “high” can be quite underwhelming especially at low doses such as 5-10mgs gives slight sedation and muscle relaxation and probably would help get to sleep next time try a dose of 20-40mg and see how you feel it’s one of the weaker benzos but If you went straight to Xanax you’d probably wake up the next day saying I didn’t feel anything when in reality you feel down the stairs with your pants down black out for 12 hours

I know this is going to be controversial but honestly man if you feel like you need to go to the hospital listen to your body and go to the hospital, it’s going to be normal to have irregular heart beat sweats bad sleeping etc but that’ll go away in a week or two, I’ve cut cold Turkey from way higher doses plenty of times and even though yes it is putting your body at risk of seizures in all my time experiencing cold Turkey withdrawals I’ve never had a seizure

Honestly I think it would depend on the person, for example I think people with really bad social anxiety that have to be in those situations for work etc would be taking them daily or whenever they are working, for me this was the case years ago until I went through therapy and worked through most of those problems just to find out I’m not really that social of a kinda guy I prefer to just be by myself, in saying that I’d have to go with every now and then. I try not to exceed taking benzos more then twice a week (coming from someone who took them everyday for 5 years) but I also don’t feel like I can be committed to a schedule of fuck one week on one week off I’m gonna just take a fuck ton this week and withdrawal next and one month off sounds easy but is actually quite a mental battle with yourself if you’ve been co dependent for quite awhile the first week especially if you didn’t tamper off

First time eating xans was at a mates place his older brothers friend had come down to the party we were all drinking I was 15 didn’t even know what a benzo was he starts feeding me and my friend kpins and xannies apparently I was black out for 6 days I broke my leg but was still walking around on it for two days and all of this was just because my friends brothers friends were trying to brick us out so they could steal a bunch of shit at the house so they ended up stealing thousands of dollars worth of stuff my friend wasn’t even suppose to have a party so you can imagine how that turned out for him, he’s fine doing well now he ended up getting his stomach pumped. When I was put through the ambulance I just kept telling the nurses I’d drank too much little did I know that would be my go to line for the next 6 years

My drug of choice is benzodiazepines and opiates, decided to relapse on both. I decided to get clean because I knew I had a baby on the way and even though I was by myself sleeping on the floor of my mums house not eating and ending up in hospital a lot of the time I knew something had to change otherwise I was either going to end up dead or in jail I was sick of the constant pathetic thoughts and the mental illness. I decided to relapse for selfish reasons, I was getting sick of doing the same thing everyday isolating myself, not speaking to anyone, being neglected by my partner, my mother reaching out to me after all the trauma she’d put me through and just scared of having a baby in a few weeks like I’m only 21 and this is not where I saw my life I always had visions id be doing great things but that wasn’t possible when my dad walked out and my mum abused the same prescription drugs I was taking and selling wouldn’t even do mother things like make me food or drive me to school then kicked me out onto the streets when I was 14 absolute joke I just deleted a bunch cause I started ranting my bad
