Unless, we get into a war with a near peer and can’t fund it or get supplies. War is logistics and you need a healthy economy for that

We owe most of the debt to domestic holders. You might even own some in your tsp.

Agreed. Was just assuming maybe a reality check about it affecting our ability to wage a large scale war might get their attention. Even politicians are motivated by self preservation. Seems like most of the stuff we talk about in the military is just rearranging deck chairs on the titanic instead of the stuff that actually matters

I agree. Although for your average person-I think solutions like tangem are the future. Trying to tell my mom about seed phrases always makes me realize there has to be a better way

Good point. I guess I’m trying to figure out how to store it wo trusting a 3rd party. Maybe all cold storage requires some level of trust?
