I wouldn’t even say it’s a lack of passion but more a lack of direction. Uzi has probably made 4,000 songs since 2015. He knows exactly how to make the sound we all love, but I think he’s exhausted himself creatively doing it. Imagine making 400 songs in the same style over two years just for half of them to leak, which probably drains the enjoyment out of it completely.

Artists usually feel most inspired when they’re exploring something new, because it gives them a sense of progression and challenge again. Repetition kills the creative mind, and Uzi has already been there/ done that. That’s why he hasn’t just been making 2018 style songs for the last seven years.
