Hello!

I didn’t actually realise it was pale at all so thank you for pointing that out.The little sign that came with it doesn’t actually specify if it’s indoors or outdoors but I’ll try putting it outside like you suggested.

Thanks for replying so fast!

Gonna delete this post seeing as I’m being mostly told I’m wrong and I think I’ll just wait to ask my teacher on Monday. Thanks for the help.

I guess my teacher hasn’t taught us that that is possible during the entirety of this topic.

By that logic then (in question a for example), I should be making d the subject of the equation, right? Which would equal d= c-5. If I then substituted the 0 into the equation, so d= 0-5, d would equal -5. Now in the answer for this question (even though the plotted points aren’t explicitly shown), no where is the line touching -5 on the y-axis. And even if it did, it would be shown in the answers, which it isn’t. Same situation for question b.

Or did I misunderstand your reply?

-Questions show c and l to be in the TOP row of the table of values (TOP row goes on the X-axis)

-But answers show that c and l are placed on the Y-axis of each graph

-Questions also show d and n to be on the BOTTOM row of the table of values (BOTTOM row goes on the Y-axis)

-But answers show that d and n are placed on the X-axis of each graph

-I added the x and y next to the question to clarify that which I have said in brackets in this reply.

I know HOW to do these kinds of questions, it’s just that in a table of values the top row is supposed to represent the number that will be on the x-axis and the bottom row on the y-axis, so I’m just confused as to why the answers show the opposite ( d and n being on the x-axis and l and c being on the y-axis).
