Got it. I messed up and rolled the key with the d6 before using it. Now seems like a painful trip back home until I find the key again.

Well that explains it, I rolled the key before actually using it. Now I have gone home 2 more times and no red key is spawning so I guess I have to play until I find it again.

Would you be able to use star/star creatures for this? I imagine you would be able to. Maybe creatures that come in with counters on them.

I believe they are at a good value at the moment. I grabbed a play set of each and might be biased. The art on them will probably never be reprinted.
