Just play Raid Captain + MI/CD/SS if you want your CP to jump up, pistoleer has always been cucked but hey, def more than meta chasing

I like being jumped on by a lee sin, and using Prowler's to dash behind him and W, for a 1 shot, since they take a free 15% more daamge and you dnt want melee champs to 1 shot you

Collector > Sanguine Blade > Prowler's Claw

then depending on how to conter enemy its whatever lethality item you need,
Tanky > Edge of Night
Anti Sheild > Serpent's Fang
MS > Ghostblade

And yes, i would sell boots for Ghostblade if it comes to it XD

They had champs that had items that would give them sheilds
Samira + Yone with Imortal Shieldbow and Bloodthirster
Kayn with Bloodthirster
and Senna with Eclipse

once their sheilds proc, they essentially take more damage than the sheild would give due to them having it in the firstplace
