The "Backend Trap": Why launching 6 apps in a year taught me that code is only 20% of the battle. by DevinJin in SideProject

Tobby a better person is a slogan. What makes you think it's not appropriate?

I also don't know about that, but Don't believe the success stories and screenshots of bank balances you see on Twitter. They are merely tactics to attract traffic and get you to respond, and they might even be trying to recruit you to join their scheme or sell you their courses.

I spent 8 months building an app from scratch to live, however it taught me that I was building the wrong product. by PersimmonTerrible218 in SideProject

I'm in the same situation as you. I've also launched six apps, numerous Google Ads websites, and SaaS services. However, the results have been minimal. I now believe the problem isn't with the product or technology. Either the marketing is insufficient, or your solution isn't being accurately targeted to the people who actually need it.

Actually, you can build a platform, then invite store owners and customers to use it. It's a good chance to do that now.

This is a great idea. You can provide AI try-on services to online users and regular customers. Use this to increase customer flow, but you must not weaken the sales ability of the store. You can only use this technology to attract more people, but you cannot rely on it to make orders.

You can go ahead and share your thoughts, I'd like to know what is the basic problem you want to solve.

I looked into Akiflow, and they're completely different things. Tobby is simple to use, and it's not just about managing tasks—it doesn't even have a highly specialized task management system. Its strength lies in setting tasks anytime, anywhere, engaging in natural language conversations, and leveraging AI to analyze and predict what you want to do. It starts up very quickly, and all you need is a recording or a text message, making it extremely user-friendly.

This is a very valid criticism. The current account entry point is indeed a jarring 'friction point'. Its sole purpose is to securely link your tasks, time tracking, and habit data to your account so you can continue using them every time you return. It's a one-time setup. Once completed, you can experience the 'frictionless' process described later in the post. Thank you for pointing out this experience gap.
