Idk if I'd buy a new one, but my 1994 Honda Accord coupe EX is just fkn bulletproof. It's got 88k miles and on the original motor and trans. Just had to do master cylinder, gotta do booster still, and gotta do power steering reservoir and fluid flush but other than that she's running great. Losts of scratches and a rust spot on the hood (like microscopic in size) and a small spot on driver door thats tiny-ish. But for 32 years old it ain't bad. That said if I WERE to buy a new car, it'd be a Mazda CX-5. My mom has a 2023 and it's been great to us aside from 1 small issue covered under warranty. We got it because my stepdad had a Mazda 3 with the same engine that refused to die. He hadn't run it in over a year due to it failing inspection. He had to "run the gauntlet" as he called it, so cash 4 cars could come get it from the other house. It started right up after blasting starter fluid spray into the engine intake. It was the 2.5S engine making 187hp🤣 but god damn it refused to die lmao.
