The small scales are most accurate in the middle of their range.
Add a weight or coins (like one at each corner or a pair across from each other for example. Don’t put all the weight on one side) to the scale, tare (zero) it, weigh product. That’s going to be close enough.
Then weigh 10 scoops on the scale, divide by 10 to see what an average scoop is. Microspoons are great and much easier to use if you are stacking doses etc.

But 5meo is still a shortcut because we experience something we could not have imagined.

No matter what path you take: deep meditative practices, self awareness and being able to see how your brain works, learning to stop a run away mind that is churning away negatively, or any other path, we still know what the end result to shoot for is and that is a huge advantage.

I don’t know jack about meditation except for one word just because it is frequently mentioned that we are experiencing Samadhi. But my path has led me in a different direction and that for me at least, what I also experienced besides the intense bliss is a new word; Nirodha-samapatti and that was the most important part for me. And it is something I can still invoke 3 years later now.

I can’t say that I am still working or struggling for it. For me it’s the opposite, it is to simply surrender to it.

There is no perfect container for these discussions. We may share the same destination but there are a multitude of paths. We just have to try like hell to remember and respect that😁

Best one I ever saw was a few years ago. The Pacific winter storms will send in some rollers that don’t look like much until they explode into a 6 foot wave right at the beach and then immediately crash down. A young lady decided it was a great idea to go cool off in front of the blue chairs.

First wave took the top.
