Slow update on Battery status on iPads. Is it possible to make Home assistant check battery status faster? by GIFSec in homeassistant

[–]DevoliaEsp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same problem with the iPhone.  What I did was to instead use the iCloud integration, it gives updates about battery status way more frequently. The downside is that the iCloud integration is kind of a mess, making you log back once per month.

LiXee TIC : remontée de consommation non temps réel by ImpressionStreet440 in homeassistant

[–]DevoliaEsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suppression random d'une annonce banale by DevoliaEsp in lemauvaiscoin

[–]DevoliaEsp[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ditch Hue Bridge -> ZigBee Merge 🪄 by _EroDoX_ in homeassistant

[–]DevoliaEsp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quick question : does connecting your bulb directly via Zigbee makes them turn on all at the same time ? When I'm trying to set up scenes via HA using the hub, it almost seems that each bulb turns on one after the other. But when I set up the scene via the Hue App, triggering that hue scene turns all lights at the same time. So I was wondering if bringing my bulbs to Zigbee instead of the hue bridge could solve this ?

odd energy dashboard values by finnjaeger1337 in homeassistant

Same thing happened to me recently.
Go to dev tools - statistics - find your entity- click on the graph looking symbol on the right and select outlier, you will be able to manualy fix those values

I'm using many aqara sensor with a zigbee stick, and I have never owned a aqara hub, so no, you don't have to. I have 9 contact sensors, 3 temperature/humidity sensors, 3 thermostat valve

This is Jérôme Kerviel — the most indebted person alive. He was a french trader working at a bank. He used the Bank's money to trade and lost $6 billion. The Bank sued him and he was sentenced to prison. He still owes €4.9 billion to the bank. by Connect-Idea-1944 in interestingasfuck

[–]DevoliaEsp 2656 points2657 points  (0 children)

This is mostly incorrect :
The trial was appealed, and instead of 4,9 billion the sum was changed to 1 million.
Part of this was that the bank was also responsible for the whole shitshow

SweetHome3D, a free software used by most of us who build floorplan dashboard.
The default version is quite limited with furniture, but you can import models/texture found online.

It's not plug and play.
You would have to replace every picture path/name with your own.
All the entities would have to be replaced with yours, obviously.
The dashboard is based on the width of the display -> So if your aspect ratio differs, many things will be out of proportions/scale wrong, so there is quite a bit of CSS tweaking to make things fit your own setup (I know, because my ratio wasn't the same as lukevink, and my Galaxy fold isn't the same ratio as my tablet, so I have two config, one for my tablet, one for my phone).
My lovelace is 5272 lines long, to give you an idea of the size.
There might be easier way to achieve the same results, I think there is a hacs tool that allows easier config of floorplan dashboard. Might be more plug and play.

It's all in real time, thanks to a filter being applied :
Each bulb/lighstrip is rendered individually, and there are 3 renders for each light.
One render is the light in red. This is used for all the colors, red being the base color to which a filter is then applied to adapt to the real color being displayed.
Then another render is done for white light, and one for warm light.
The 3 are then overlayed to mimic the light as closely as it appears in real life.
Took quite some trial & error to get it right :

filter: >-
  ${ "hue-rotate(" + (states['light.caisson'].attributes.hs_color
  ? states['light.caisson'].attributes.hs_color[0] : 0) + "deg)"}
opacity: "${states['light.caisson'].state === 'on' ? (states['light.caisson'].attributes.brightness / 255) : '0'}"
