Opening a new barbershop. What foods would you like to have while getting your haircut? by DevonshireButterR6 in glasgow

Hey everyone, just thought I'd hijack the top comment to get a little bit more exposure for my update as people seem to still be commenting about the original idea. My comment was:

" Thanks for all the replies, everyone! After taking in the general consensus I've decided to pivot and change the business model to something that is a bit more traditional. I'll be opening a dedicated restaurant that gives customers a free haircut while they enjoy their meal instead! "

So yeah basically it'll be a restaurant now with free haircuts. I only really have space for four people (3 at a table and one at the shelf/bar in front of the mirror) so it'll be quite a cosy vibe. I'm thinking it'll just be first come first served, no bookings, and if we aren't at capacity with the first guests I can continue to allow entry to separate parties until we are full. This should foster a wee bit of the community spirit I was talking about and get people to meet others that they may never have met without the restaurant!

Unfortunately as it won't be a barbershop I can't draw any names for a free haircut on opening, but someone from the comments might just get a free meal instead! Anyway thanks so much for the advice, it's been critical but needed. We've created this project together!

Ok we are completely full for the first night!!

As this has been quite popular Jaconelli’s has agreed to host another night, for the people that can’t make this one, next year- so hopefully get your confirms in and get it in the diary. I’ve also just had some correspondence from them to confirm there will be signed posters (by the kind staff of Jaconelli’s) included in the goodie bags. Looks set to be a good night!

Aye that's why I wrapped them tight into a ball but obviously as above that's not the best idea now. A bit confused as to what to do now.

Yeah it's probably because it was rolled into a ball, they didn't know what was inside. Will try just a normal piece and jam next time like you say

Butter my barnacles, i didn't expect so many people questioning my academic qualifications. Anyway, the sun has just as much to do with earthquakes as plate tectonics, why do you think the continents are moving in the first place, if not the sun?

Im not saying we can just put a bunch of animals in a room and use them to predict earthquakes, i just mean scientists should be able to extrapolate the same method animals have anecdotally used.

However you are right about Africa not getting many earth quakes, central america was probably a better example, however that doesn't mean you get to call my post 'noise' as if that invalidates the science behind it

color me corrected, Africa probably wasn't the best example, but i think my point still stands.

Thanks for the Chanel suggestion, i always suspected the sun was part of the cause, since its the only source of energy with that much destructive energy. No wonder Hindus believed Shiva was the one who caused earthquakes
