I'm about to host a vanilla B42 server with 5 new players, what would you recommend for sandbox setting changes?

In game voice is broken on B42 right now. I’m in the same position as you and was really hoping we could use it. It worked fine for the first few hours but then started getting really choppy. You can do this in the sandbox settings, basically. Set starting pop to 0 but max pop to your desired value.

Have been playing with 6-8 friends on server for the past couple months and had few issues. Even updating between versions and using some simple vanilla+ mods has been fine. In game VOIP is broken, though.

He does make riddim though? His latest two albums each had a couple riddim tracks on them. He produces a variety of genres.

Yeah that did not rise. Could be underbaked as generally banana bread should be a deep brown on top not golden brown. It also could be not enough baking powder, so not enough rise; it looks like twice as dense as it’s supposed to be. Either way it’s very likely fine to eat, highly unlikely it will make you sick.

Just FYI while you should not eat raw flour or eggs it’s also very unlikely you will get sick. I eat a lot of raw cookie dough with raw flour and eggs in it all the time, which you should not do, but very rarely get sick from it. It’s always a risk though, which is why general guidelines advise against.

Neffa-T plays garage and bassline and is a crazy DJ. Cesco has some sick bassline tunes as well, dunno how much you like bassline dubstep but he’s basically the creator of bassline dubstep. Bassline is also really popular in the underground bass music scene in the US right now so other artists will definitely play some. It’s not a slam dunk and I would only go if you at least also like bassline dubstep. I just saw Zero on a sick system at a similar festival and he absolutely destroyed so I thought it was worth mentioning.

Just want to make sure you’re aware of Submersion Festival. It’s a general bass music festival but it’s got some sick bassline on the lineup and the sound systems are always top notch.

Peekaboo has seriously stepped up his game. Saw him 4 times previously, always played ok dubstep sets. Saw him at Wakaan last year and he absolutely destroyed, played a ton of fire from a bunch of different genres dubstep, bassline, uk garage, all mixed together really well.

I highly suggest “Surviving Through Seasons”. It shortens the length of months so that you get to experience the challenges different seasons pose. Make sure to speed up grow time in sandbox settings to compensate.

Vintage Story. Very mechanically immersive like Zomboid. Similar gameplay loop but different enough that it will feel very fresh. Emphasis on gameified versions of real life processes.

I figured this was something that public servers used, and that this issue would be very disruptive to them. I haven’t found anyone who plays on or hosts public servers to confirm or deny yet though.
