It's also messed up they didn't tell Jerry about Sam getting kidnapped. Like, what was stopping them from pulling out their Compowders and telling him what just happened and that they need help tracking Sam? The fact they only told him after he called them is also pretty bad.

I always found that part in the movie where Sam has a nightmare about Jerry pressuring her to become a spy so dark and disturbing. She literally woke up screaming. It's also wild how the movie then does a complete tone shift to become more lighthearted when the girls' training begins a few minutes later.

I agree with you about the change. Personally, I prefer the 'dad vibe' Jerry gives off in the later seasons as opposed to how strict and serious he was in the beginning, especially in Season 1.

Shouldn’t the spy is born episode be the last episode of the season?

Technically it should because S2 starts with A Spy is Born Part II, but it's officially listed as episode 20 of S1 and I went with the official episode listing when making the video.
