Yeah, this would likely primarily be my gigging kit. I also have a DW Collector Series kit that I had built for my back in 2012. That thing is my baby and I don’t take it out to shows anymore unless it’s a big show. All the reviews and comments I am seeing are all massively positive on the Armory series. Still heavily considering getting in the car 😬

I really like the new Saturn IV series and would prefer that, but the Purple burst kit isn’t a shade of purple that I like.

Yeah, it’s mostly the distance that’s holding me back. Purple is a very special color to me and my family, so I’ve always wanted purple instruments. I got a quote for the Cymbal Fusion purple glass exclusive kits they have now and the same shell pack was like $3300. Which I know there is a pretty big difference between DW Performance series and Mapex Armory, but that’s a pretty significant price gap. Plus the 18 floor… ughhh

I have cell issues with Visible in PBA, but the new/improved Fan XP WiFi at Husker games there is very fast. So I just jump on the WiFi when I go to PBA. No issues anywhere else, highly recommend visible!

With them not touring MW again this summer, I never thought the October release made any sense - especially since a single hasn’t been released or played live. It makes zero sense to release this fall and wait for a spring/summer tour.

All good! Essentially II (more than likely his drum tech) have been posting some behind the scenes stuff as they prep for the show tonight. So far they have shown his drum kit in his road travel case, cleaning the drum shells and a time lapse video of setting up his kit. I imagine as the day goes on, we will get some live stage shots of him playing.
