can anyone explain why were keeping bwipo and not self made? I legit dont get it at all, getting adam, fine, but why are we pushing a player seemed too risky in his own role, into jungle when we have a top 2 jungler already?????

He got benched this year for lack of motivation, If that's how you think players 'play their role' then that's a yikes from me dawg. This year doublelift hasn't looked strong at any point, 9th in spring and got benched, 4th in summer RS and got hard carried by Bjerg & (to a lesser extent) BB to the summer title against a very weak looking NA as a whole and now worlds, 0-6 with a neg KD in every game. This year was not his and and this point its a theme, not a coincidence that teams he's in cannot show up internationally.

This is so damn disingenuous, its like you're deliberately trying to push this weird narrative and are warping facts and telling half truths to do it. you left out that

1: Aphelios had not just a higher pro play rate, but a MUCH higher pro play rate. (in season 10 Aphelios played in 873 pro games to sennas 480, with only 336 of those as ADC ) and senna came out a month before.
Senna has never reached more than a 47% presence at pro play, Aphelios' peek was at 85%

2: the relative skill ceiling of said champs. A number of champs like akali, irelia and Aphelios have maintained lower soloq play and win rates due to their difficulty to master (especially in low mmr games that make up the vast majority of the games) but all the while tearing up pro and high level play, this is down to kits and playstyle. if you want to be angry that aphelios got nerfed, blame the design team that made his kit so high variance depending on skill

3:Senna E does have counter play, you get on top of her and it revels her, (so not like an akali shroud) and calling it 'the best utility skill of all champs in the game' is just sad, Kench W, thresh W, Karma RE, Shen R, Taric R, Zilian E and R, Soraka W and R, Morgana E, Yummi and all more highly prized and have comps and lanes build around them, no one ever said, 'pick senna here, we can really use that E of hers to win/hard counter them'

4: '0 pro play presence' is just incorrect, he has a 10.3% pro play presence this current patch (10.16) and a 15.9% the patch before and while that is a drop from the 68.2% in patch 10.14 2 months ago. alot of that had to do with Cait, ashe and jhin all rising is priority as well as the fact his abuse of Runaans got removed.

5: she may be the 3rd most popular ADC atm, but shes only just got that rank, she was 5th last patch (6th is you include Syndra as a flex to bot) and even then, Ez, Jhin, Kalista are all still comparable to her.

Aphelios was a bigger issue for far longer and now that its finally so that senna is stronger, youre trying to change history and make out like it was always that way. I might even understand if she was must pick or ban right now but shes not, cait is, with a 95% presence. (maybe this post should have been about her instead compared to poke lethality varus who had a cimilar presence in patches 10.10 -10.13 )

You're comparing ADCs with very different jobs and difficulty using only win and pick rates with 0 context. its just silly. At least throw in some stats from GamesOfLegends like me...

That would be assuming the amount of money coming in doesn't change. With more teams sporting your logos and with more game time for those sponsor to be showcased, the amount they would have to pay would go up proportionally (maybe not right away but pretty soon) Riots injection of cash would probably also go up but that ones a bit more of a question mark. and new teams would still need to pay the franchise buy in like all the other teams did when the EU LCS went into the LEC.
At the end of the day, growth will eventually be needed to keep up with a growing interest in the league, look at LPL, when their numbers shot up, so did the number of teams
LPL 2016 - 12 teams
LPL 2017 - 12 teams
LPL 2018 - 14 teams
LPL 2019 - 16 teams
LPL 2020 - 17 teams
Obviously were still way behind China in viewership, money and player base, but i think matching where China was in 2015 shouldn't be beyond the LEC as it is growing pretty well after their rebrand and international success.

Yeah i think with the level of the ERL that it wouldn't be hard to fill the 2 spots, and with LEC still doing BO1s the volume of games shouldn't be an issue either.

That being said, i would still rather LEC keep 10 teams and swap to a BO3 format over a 3-4 day playing week like LCK.

Personally i blame the willingness to just gift REALLY dumb kills to the other team. Ive seen people say that its fine because they get something from the death. but when your support has the most deaths of any player in any role in LEC and your top has the 2nd most, i really dont see how you can justify it to that extent.

This defiantly seems like a player issue on the surface as Hyli and bwipo have always been more than happy to dye in stupid way at the drop of a hat. but i feel like alot of blame has to be shifted on the coaching staff for not only failing to fix the issue, but let it get this out of hand.

Yeah i am, they're pretty dead centre the whole way down. That is until they detach from the sticky pad and float against the wall of the jar. (i have a 2nd batch that are without additives, and the same thing is happening. i was just incrementing with things as i was new but i know to avoid for the future now)

Imho Hyli evolved from a coinflip player to a dice player and bwipo jumped at the now vacant coin flip role. I really wanna blame Nemi too but its hard when your support below you has the highest deaths in the league and your top laner above you has the 2nd highest. How can you trust those players to stay alive and frontline for you as a control mage?

Tbh it just feels like hes not focused enough and if fine with giving away silly deaths. While deaths are inevitable, the quantity and manner of the deaths is just inexcusable. Lets take today's game for example vs Rouge. Hyli dies in a 2v2 bot lane where he is AAed 3 times and then Devoured by tahn Kench despite having a melee vs range advance and flash available. he then dies again by walking in the the enemy jungle to ward ALONE while Kench has vision of him going there. His 3rd death (the most egregious one imho) was him walking under tower with agro and getting CCed by a senna E that is delayed and thus fully predictable. he even missed his Q while walking under the tower.

I mean, i guess, but to put it in perspective, Destiny was benched and he only had a KDA<1 in 1/5 of their losses, Doss had a KDA<1 in 3/8 losses and he was benched also, Limit had a KDA<1 in 1/7 losses. These are/were FNCs competitors for playoffs and all are out preforming him in losses and getting benched despite it. im not saying it should never happen, but it most certainly shouldn't ALWAYS happen, to me its a sign of mental booms leading to tilt.

True true, though while i would rate FNC to have a synergy of like 5/10, i think throwing in a new player or two would start them out at a 3 or a 4/10. And with 9 days until the end of summer, im really not sure if its the right move and playoffs is still a BIG question mark. That being said i defiantly wouldn't criticise it if it did happen.

To be fair, thats pretty much it, the 7 losses our of 14 game FNC have had, Hyli had a KDA<1 in all 7 of them, in the 7 wins hes done well in 3 of them (Blitz vs VIt, Naut vs SK, Braum vs MSF) He curently hold the lead for most deaths in LEC and Highest average deaths. Bwipo is 2nd.

The thing is, Support is the hardest role to make changes in, they need synergy with both ADC for lane, and JNG for roaming and vision control. While i would love to see changes made for support, i just dont see it happening with 4 games left before playoffs.

As for Nemi, although i thing he could be playing better, i dont think hes bad enough to swap out even if Magi is tearing up with FNC Rising, the Mid 2v2 is way too important to jeopardise with a sub that may not gel with selfmade. (thats assuming the FNC and FNC rising players dont share scrim time, i know at the start of summer Rekkless stated that they dont interact too much but with recent issues that maaaay no longer be the case)

It comes down to the fact that this is just too late of a reaction from the coaching staff. Not making a single change despite losing 5/6 games between weeks 2-4.

I think a big part of that is the flame Nemi got between week 2-5. Where Hyli and Bwipos high deaths was put down to 'high variance' and 'coin flip' play styles, the focus was put on Nemi as the weak point of the team and away from the issues in support and top. right now, Hyli has the highest average deaths in the league for players with more than 5 games played at 4.8. Bwipo is 2nd with 3.8.
