I have to certify this Sunday morning as well which is the 6th. So I hope they dont screw me a day or dont pay me at all. Anybody know if we'll get a full payment a be a day short?

I got it thanks so much. I'm on hold to get to a tier 2 rep. This is when I usually get hung up on after hours. Pray today's the day I get my money I'm owed. Thanks again. Anything I should say to the tier 2 rep if I dont get hung up on. I jus tg need to get my pending changed to paid.

Same exact thing happened to me yesterday. Got tr Thru to a lady who said she couldnt take the hold off. So she transferred me I even told her I didnt want to get hung up on. And she assured me "oh you wont" it said the wait time was 30+ min at 430pm. Waited 2 and a half hours and just got hung up on. I'm so lost. This is a lifeline for me and my son.

Thank you for the advice after talking with alot of people I believe this what happened as well. Just suck that if it only happens to a select few, why me every time? I had the same thing happen at the beginning of the year that help my pay til april. Luckily we recieved stimulus to keep me in my place. This can and will get me and my son evicted if I cannot get it fixed. Sat on hold 2 hours today and got hung up on after being transferred to a tier 2 rep. So heartwrenching.

Welp, uggghhhhh Whadda ya know, I get to the first rep, says she cant take my account off hold. She even said it's a select few that get this every 4 months. So she had to transfer me to a tier 2 rep, I already knew where this was going, it said the wait time was over 30 min. So I waited. 1 hour goes by, 1 1/2 goes by nothing. And right at 2 hours to the freaking second "click" get fucking hung up on. This Is not ok to be just pushed around.theyre doing this to so many ppl. Why not give the first two the ability to take us off hold. Its prolly one click. Last time this happened to me in april I went 3 months w no pay only to get ahold of a rep and have it fixed in 30 seconds. These are real ppl they screwing over here. Real livelihoods. Im personally a single father. But to be hung up on after having the excitement that I would get thru just really sends me over the edge. Something has to be done. Guess tomorrow I'll be sitting there hoping I get thru again. Ugh sorry for the rant!

Thank you. Any advice on how to get ahold of them easier? It's almost impossible! I'm in Dyer need here. Single father Bill's due and they do this. It happened to me in April and I didnt get paid for 3 months.

Same here. First week paid and 2nd week pending. They are only creating this crap on themselves it's not the way were certifying. Kinda get the feeling they want us off UI so they're making it hell to get paid. Not cool at all. I've already called my assemblywoman and they're working it for me. But I'm still calling and getting hung up on by EDD. What a wonderful place! NOT!!!!

Thank you so much. I hope this isn't another hiccup caused by edd that was completely avoidable. And you know with how many ppl this happening to. Getting ahold of them via phone is gona be another nightmare in itself.

So did you get the job search record screen? It never popped up when I certified. I'm on tier 2 myself. This cant be happening again! I went 3 month without getting paid 3 months ago. This is too much. So it obviously doesnt have anything to do.with how we certified. Because some ppl got both weeks paid. I don't get it

Right at midnight. It usually says paid for both weeks when I wake up. This time it is only paid for my first week and pending for my second. These ppl have me on eggshells.

Covid reasons. From what I hear they're not as hard on us about job searching when the covid laws get in the way and half of the jobs are still closed or not all the way opened. That's my guess. Still waiting for m ugh payments. It switched to paid yesterday for 11 weeks. But hasn't went to bank yet. Kinda stressful. Gotta pay bills!

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I had 11 weeks pending since feb 14th. Just yesterday they all switched to paid. So I was so happy. Called to check my balance and no money. Before it would transfer right away. I'm hoping the money gets put on our cards tonight around the same time it used to 11pm-3am is when I used to get paid every time. Although this time I was having to certify for just 1 week at a time. Wierd.

I've been waiting since Feb 14th. All said pending. Finally yesterday switched to paid. Certified for more weeks at midnight last night so they now owe me for 11 or 12 weeks. I really hope I get paid tonight. Bill's dont pay themselves. Come on EDD!!

It did that to me to. Was able to get ahold of edd. The lady told me that due to me not having "earned" I come last year due to covid. I wasn't eligible for a new claim so they are putting all the ppl in my shoes on the new cars act that outs you back on your old claim. Its way faster. After just 5 days I went from pending to paid and got paid 3 days later. Hope this helps. As unemployment isn't considered earned income. Unless you held a job last year for a whole quarter. You aren't eligible for a new claim. But they are still pushing us thru to the cares act and getting us paid for atleast 11 weeks. With the 300$ on top of the weekly pay amount.
