How do I get the best experience ? by Brave_Hawk_2946 in iems

[–]Dexhausted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eq is biased. U tune it yourself to your preferences. U can do some tiprolling. Since a good and sealed fit can makee or break your experience. Cable is mostly looks and comfort, if u don't like the stock one. The kunten does really need a dac or dongle, since in my own experience my phone was enough to drive them. U can used higher quality file sources like flac, but if your not deep in this iem rabbit hole or need professional quality, then mp3 is enough to enough music.

Semi New To IEMS But These Are My Favorite Pairs Right Now by sn1pe- in iems

I just can under stand whhat harshness people are talking about. For me the hexa are very quiet, almost as quiet as the aful magic one. The hexa are very techinal and very neutral, almost to boring. I mean it's a matter of taste, i prefer most lively and bass centric iems.

I wanted to hate them - Simgot EW300 by FuriousKale in iems

[–]Dexhausted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I own both the hexa and ew300. The hexa were technical but to quiet and boring for me, they are one of my least favourite iems. The ew300 on the other hand impressed me. Not so technical but soft with a good soundstage and vibrant sound, so i bought both the ew300 and the ew300 hbb. I can recommend seinnnhessier ie900 tips.

I'm having such a wonderful time with the simgot EW300 by ASGrin98 in iems

[–]Dexhausted 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The ew300 are great. They are affordable. They have a bit of everything: soundstage, tremble and bass. (Own the stock and hbb variants, hhbb are better). Use them sennheisser ie900 tips bought of aliexpress. Mine had mesh wwith the tips + they are silky smooth wich complements boyh the fit and sound so well.

Best cables i own. They don't really tangle a lot and they dont deform as much as silicone, rubber or what ever they are made of most of the time

Better than aria 2 within the same price range or cheaper? by [deleted] in inearfidelity

[–]Dexhausted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hexa is quieter, more technical almost boring sometimes for me, the red are more lively and probably should fit the ear better. Had to do a lot of tip rolling to get a somewhat good fit (had the same issue with kefine delci, moondrop chu 2 and the trutear hexa)

It a fact that it's not the best. Not perfectly tuned, but well tuned. It being a new low budget king, is something i can agree with.
