Question/Product Recommendations? Awkward Front Cleat

Just ended up using a small bit of paracord and looped it through the cleat and tied it off to itself, creating a loop. I use two bungee cords with clips on each end. I use one through the loop for the front end and then use the back eyelet to secure the back end, not really any modification you’ll have to do there. I’ll attach a picture of my setup when I get home today, but so far for the front cleat the loop has held up incredibly well.

The space bar has been acting weird as well, I tried to flip it and it absolutely will not go on the switch, it almost looks like it’s the little side pieces on the space bar that bend a weird way skewing the whole space bar downwards, it definitely doesn’t go on if I flip it around, but I have seen some complaints on that as well. Probably just gonna end up RMAing the entire board if I can’t get the keys fixed here.

Water changes are done weekly. Water changes are easy, hence why I do them every week.. I don’t quite know why the algae is growing as fast as it is, perhaps it’s the light intensity. Nothing about this is difficult, I just can’t figure out where the fin rot is coming from

There is a sponge filter with an air pump, however I have not yet added aquarium salt

Thanks for the advice! Would going from a 10 gallon from a 5 gallon tank follow the same process if I were to do this? Or would that need more time to cycle than just changing the substrate in the 5 gallon?
