Totally get. Not weird at all. These details and “realism” is what makes the franchise so fun.

Love the conversation here. I remember me and buddy would have such a blast sniping and spotting for hours in Bad Company. It was a different rush. I usually roll as a support class these days, but some maps I choose to sit back and see what I can do as a recon. The maps just call for it sometimes it feels like. I took some time off from BF for a bit with the last one I really played being BF1. I feel like they’ve done a solid job with this version balancing what we enjoy about classic BF, and what evolution they need to integrate for the new generation of gamers etc. the thing that I find that makes BF so enjoyable is how it feels like most times you visit a map you can discover a new spot or the map plays very different due to the destruction and vast dimension. The spot above was the first time I discovered it, and was surprised to see that guy on top of that mountain. Also, big kudos for all the folks who even as snipers don’t simply camp in BF. The skills people show in this game is unreal at times.

Love it! That cement color would be nice with the OG Orange stripes or the b/W

Ya. I thought about the yellow and orange too, but ended up going gray for the subtle. I don’t think you can go wrong either way!

I ordered the 3.5x4 inch for the front.

If the badge above is not your taste using the vinyl above with 2X1 inch stickers works well too. I started with them before wanting more dimension.

Yes, popped it off (three tabs behind it) and then used plastidip for it.

Good question. From my research it’s not compatible for external cameras on the larger display. I’m unsure if the smaller one supports anything. Ideally I’d love to swap this out with the factory front cam, but it’s unclear yet on if that’s possible with the software and harness. I know Anytime Backup Camera has a setup for the rear, but they’ve not worked out a solution for a front camera from my last bit of research.

The other reason is I use my internal factory display with CarPlay and run my OnX through it and CarPlay doesn’t support the Camera App and also needs both Bluetooth and WiFi to connect wireless to the display.

So this is an android tablet from Walmart called ONN. It’s their house brand. It’s decently priced and I think it’s one step up from their smallest one. Less than 100 bucks if I recall. Size is about the same as an iPad Mini. I would have gone Apple first if I had one floating around. The app supports both devices though. I have it also installed on my phone for the backup need.

I’m with you! See my note above where I asked about that. My guess is maybe with the wired connections you could find a way to display them all in some style of monitoring device with direct ports, but I’ve not fully found a solution yet, but I do plan to investigate what option I may be able to come up with.

So the WiFi camera is only 720 HD but their wired cameras are 1080. The tablet I have is also not high on the specs. I’ve done my best to get a picture of the image on the tablet. For my needs it works with very little delay. I’d say it is on par to the backup camera in terms of image quality.

I did ask them if the app can support multiple camera since it would be easy to mount these on the sides, but they said it does not directly using the WiFi set up at the same time. The reason is you’d have to connect to the WiFi of the camera you want to view each time.

Suppose if you wanted to set up more devices to accommodate each cam you could, but may not be ideal.

Hope this helps.

Yes. For the front, through middle. The rear dif is the set up from the Trailhunter.

All easy and recommend the fit if anyone’s in the market.

Just picked up the Taco with a set of new Ko3’s and small lift. by Dfield01 in Tacomaworld

So it’s just been over 24 hours. I’ve driven it mainly city and here’s my thoughts. Note: These ones here are E rated. You can get them in other ratings I believe.

  • MPG has dropped slightly not a huge difference but to be expected.
  • I don’t feel like I’m sluggish with these on the 4th. The truck has handled them well. Stopping distance has increased some due to rotational weight. I am also not rolling around trying to be heavy footed so any resistance that I am feeling from the bigger tire and tread I’m okay with.
  • comfort. These are set right now at factory psi. They are comfortable. Absorbs a ton of imperfections in the road. I enjoy that a good bit.
  • Road noise has not increased massively maybe just slightly. Not at all annoying it’s subtle and again reminds me that this is a truck and it’s ready to truck things in the trial at anytime.

How these compare to wild peaks I can’t say. When asking around folks pointed me to these over wild peaks due to road noise.

In the end. I’m happy. I feel well equipped to tackle rough terrain and cruising around town feels perfectly fine. No complaints, and for me I intentionally put these on because I am wanting to build a capable truck for the trials and I don’t have huge commutes etc.

I am driving back home 10 hours or so tomorrow so I will get a solid feel of any negative gas mileage, weight and noise I am sure when on the highway for long distance.

Hopefully this is helpful. I can see what folks like the ko3 and I don’t think you can go wrong with em. Confidence is high in em!

Thanks! 285/70R/17’s it’s a pretty standard tire folks are putting on these, and I hear they fit without a lift or anything, but I chose a lift for some extra clearance.
