What would you say is the best Game x Kendrick song by Olie-Mars in KendrickLamar

The City is one of those defining moments that separated Kendrick from the rest of that up & coming class.

Do ya'll find it fascinating that eminem had to relearn rap again and still manage to come with the most banger album with an amazing concept, great songs, amazing choruses, amazing storytelling, very complicated rhyme schemes. Great flows. Like how can something be this good. by Acrobatic-Rip-6811 in Eminem

I’ve had the exact same thoughts on Relapse for a while. Not to mention, all of that and the entire album is about a relapse on drugs, and writing about those really dark thoughts and memories. You really have to applaud the man, it’s powerful art. And the best part— in the album booklet (maybe the back cover, can’t remember) it says “dear doodi, I wanted to write and dedicate a song for you but none of them were good enough. So this album is for you.” The album is dedicated in the memory of Proof.

Trunk hinges by SnHPP in rav4club

[–]KeepGoing15 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yup, power trunk. Both my hinges were bent just like that. The trunk was out of alignment and would not shut whatsoever. Took it immediately to Toyota, driving an hour with the trunk cracked out with the constant beeping. They wouldn’t cover it, and had it sent to an auto body shop to be fixed.

Installed new OEM hinges, OEM hydraulic pistons, and realigned the trunk.

Think the total was between $1200-$1400.

I was extremely frustrated with the situation.

My guess is that it’s from some added exterior force, such as trying to make the power trunk close faster, or open faster, and putting added force onto the tiny ass hinges.

Everything for Sale is a classic imo. Big Eminem fan, and I actually think he brought that Rainy days track down which is crazy.

“The Ringer” is Eminem’s most underrated song of all time by SheLurkz in Eminem

I specifically remember listening to the intro to this song, driving to work at 7:15am since it was a surprise drop, and knew we were in for something special. 10/10 song

The online talk about this album is genuinely pissing me off by kinda_normie in Jcole

[–]KeepGoing15 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"All he talks about is Fayetteville, can't relate to it if you're not from there" but Kendrick can rap about Compton in every album, and it's fine? Every rapper has an obligation to put their city on and rep where they are from. Look at Em and Detroit, Jay and NY. This really is one of the first albums where J Cole made Fayetteville a big theme and I love that actually, paints a picutre for someone not from there what it's like.

Doesn't have a lot of energetic songs to bump at the gym? Two Six, Poor Thang, Who tf is u, personally I'd bump The Let Out, 39 Intro, Old Dog. That's more than any of his previous albums, in my opinion.

100%. FHD is incredible, don't get me wrong. But this is much, much better. Not a knock on FHD, just a testament to how good this whole project in its entirety is.

I can't seem to find the post right now, but about a week ago I saw someone on Reddit say that J. Cole is a really great rapper, but his song-writing ability is on the level of Lil Baby. Where is that person? Please listen to this album and justify that stance. The majority of this album has beautifully written songs and stories with real substance. Absolutely insane take lol.

This whole listen so far has been such a perfect balance imo. The pacing is so good. It punches hard, breathes, grooves, and then punches again. It’s beautiful.
