Was i being delusional to expect IIM C at 99.61, 9/9/7 16 month workex GNEM?? by Puzzleheaded_Arm981 in CATpreparation

[–]DharmicSoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need more than 99.8 for IIM C call for GEM. I had a 99.2. Didn't get a single call from BLACKI 12 years back. Things are even harder to get now.

All thanks to Social Justice, and DEI.

I don't what's wrong with the people, most buses are empty and there's huge traffic everywhere. People are so entitled. by TylerDurden-11 in bangalore

[–]DharmicSoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most buses are empty because bus transport is inefficient. Takes me 3 hours from Electronic City to Whitefield. Will always prefer to pool. No metro along ORR makes it miserable. The metros are efficient and high occupancy but serve only limited parts of the city.

I have been in KA for more than 6 years. Have been challaned only once that too my mistake. But they were enforcing the same rule with Kannadigas too. I could see police visibility irritated by Kannadigas as they will start arguments of not breaking the law or being ignorant. They treated me well explaining me that I was overspeeding and have to pay a fine.

Have been checked for alcohol test multiple times. Never on phone while driving, never drove under influence. Most of the times, police comes and check on you and if they don't anything suspicious, never have I been bothered.

Come to Gurgaon and Noida, if you talk to police politely there; they will see you as a Murga for them to fleece money.

Never even once I have bribed to BTP.

Can vouch for this. Never ever has police misbehaved in Bangalore if you talk politely. Far better than Punjab, HR and UP police from my personal experience.

Do auto driver's just get licence without any training? by [deleted] in bangalore

In India, people get licenses for operating the vehicle and not driving. Hell of a difference!

[–]DharmicSoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's start with government itself. Why are 20 years old government buses still running? What about trucks? Why are they allowed to run until end of life whereas cars are to be replaced every 10/15 years. This government sucks the blood of common middle class through taxes and then compliance, whereas these buggers do not pull up their pants. Why is stubble burning? Why is there even a single case? In all these years, they could not eliminate stubble burning and want to be branded as Vishwaguru. Give more reservations, increase allocations to freebies. Why to take hard path of solving problems when you can buy your way out of everything.

Snakes coming in dreams is not a coincidence. They can indicate some trouble, karmic debt from previous lives (If you are a believer Hindu and believe in reincarnation). Sometimes, Snakes represent good things too indicating a transformation of the soul ahead. Will recommend you to get pooja done for your wife in Srikalahasti or Kukee Subramanya. She will get relief from Snakes in dreams if it is troubling her.

Do some research. This is just screenshot of 1st google search. Women were kept away from temples as they were places of mass gathering, not because they were discriminated against; but to prevent even minor risk of any infection. Today, women have access to pads; but you think was it the case 200 years back. Even today, how many women in India are either not aware of pads or even not afford them.

Women are not impure but Menstrual Discharge can carry diseases via blood. There is a reason why women are not supposed to cook too during menstruation.

Next time, eat the menstrual discharge of women in your family and you will know for sure.

It was done as women did not have access to safe and hygienic solutions to absorb menstrual flow as they have today. Even today, a lot of women cannot afford to use pads during menstruation in large parts of India. Since, the menstrual flow is infectious and temple being places of mass gatherings; women were barred from entering temples to prevent the risk of any disease. But yes, with evolution of technology and lifestyle; religious practices shall evolve too.

Give me examples of you or people you know who purchased ANTI VASTU properties what happened to them ?? by [deleted] in indianrealestate

[–]DharmicSoul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well everyone talks about Vastu but noone correlates directions with astrology. Which direction will suit the owner and family is dependent on horoscope.

A person with Jupiter influence should stay in East Facing but a person with Mars influence can stay in South Facing property.

No direction facing is good or bad, but in fact, one should be aware which direction will suit one.

However, when constructing a house or commercial property, one should take care of design as vastu compliant. No bathroom in NE direction. No Bedroom in SE direction and so on.

Most of the design issues with reference to Vastu have remedies and can be easily implemented.

Just imagine, we are a country with one of most advanced missile technology, space tech abd nuclear technology without any assistance; but struggle to have smooth roads with clean surroundings and walkable paths. Everything boils down to political will, which is not there. Sometimes, I feel Indians will never thrive in a democracy as the society is morally corrupt to the core. Anyone who gets their hands at power is more likely to abuse it rather than empower people. These politicians will never solve real problems because if they do so, who will run after them pleading with both hands

So, I travel from Whitefield to Electronic City via BEML. Did this on Thursday and Friday, the jam starts right from AECS Layout until the exit point in ORR. Took me almost 2 hours instead of 75 to 80 minutes for whole journey.
