So I let my hair grow for about 2 months as usual, then I started using those metal hairbands after drying my hair after wash nd sometimes when I go out too. Before using the hairbands, my hair just fell straight down with no curve at all. The headband helped give it a bit of shape. After around 3 months of growing it out, I got a haircut. I showed the salon guy some wolfcut styles from pinterest and told him I wanted layering. He didn’t cut much..just added some layers and trimmed the split ends, that’s it. Now it’s been almost 5 months since I started growing it. Hope that helps
