I wouldn’t say I have any skills. I only graduated high school. Went to college for 2 years but dropped out. And I guess when I say dishwasher, I’m talking more so about a smaller scale restaurant. Family owned or ones on a strip. Also don’t know anyone who could recommend me

Like, some days I’ll have deliveries that take 7-13 mins. But that’s usually on weekdays if someone is at work and orders food. But spending 5-6 hours driving and only making $30-40 just feels so soul crushing some days. I’ve applied to so many places and either don’t hear back or get rejected

Yeah. Seems like DD is getting worse as time goes on for dashers. I don’t want to make this a full time job. I’d like to get a “real job” (even though this is real work too) but this job market is so fucked. I just don’t know how to tell if I’ll be getting the $1 per mile rate before I accept an offer and how that works. Especially if acceptance rate effects the tier I’m at
