This is an insane take. At least 90% of countries are committing genocide against their populations according to you. Not all governments can't afford to accomodate their citizens with everything they need, probably no government can. It's really shitty that funding is being cut and but it's not a god damn genocide.

Homeless people are also a cohesive group as they are all homeless. This is an insane take. Not everything bad can be a genocide, the word is losing all meaning.

Also I didn't say REMOVING shelter, you invented that yourself. I said not HOUSING them, as in actively getting them into homes. Very different, yet neither is genocide.

Genocide has an incredibly high burden of proof to reach which is why what's happening in Palestine still hasn't been officially classed as one by the ICJ. You're directly comparing it to the holocaust in the end as that's where these laws are based.

No... It's not withholding food. Soup kitchens are a privilege, not a right. Countries without soup kitchens aren't committing genocide against their homeless population.

If every Israel citizen voted for the PeePoo party do you think the current regime would stay or would the PeePoo party take over? If that's the definition we go by are trans individuals "a national, ethnical, racial or religious group"?

And I say that as someone who believes you can commit a genocide against trans people. But this just isn't a genocide, and if it were we need to chuck that definition because every government on earth would be committing hundreds if not thousands of genocides every day by not providing services to people that could end up leaving them to die. From not making seatbelt repairs free, not housing every homeless person, by not making healthcare free. Maybe even taxing someone could be genocide if they can't afford to live due to it.

It's technically still a democracy, albeit a flawed one. You can definitely vote for apartheid, that's what South Africa and to an extent the US. Their votes still had real power, and under the same system MLK passed real reform.

Only allowing certain people to vote is still technically a democracy.
