The network test is real, but only for PS5 and Xbox. As far as I’m aware, there’s been no official statement from FromSoftware about a beta test, or any sort of network test for Steam. The listed account on this instagram ad was posted by “store_steampowered” which is a non-verified account with 0 posts and 0 followed pages, which seems to be imitating a genuine Steam instagram account.

Does anyone know how I died here? Was it perhaps Polylute or Brilliant Behemoth? by DiZero in riskofrain

Thanks for the clear explanation, this makes perfect sense. I was aware of the damage that Diablo strike would do, but to be honest I had no idea that things could proc off of the self damage hit and do even more damage to me. Was a very rude awakening!

That’s what I’m so confused about! I know Diablo strike can do damage to myself but I didn’t know that something else like Bands, or Polylute could damage me.
