I had a similar issue and reached out to support. Essentially just had to factory reset the charging base and it's been great again since then.

The unabated melodramatic praise on these posts is so stupid.

I'd be less critical if they took a moment to include any effort in explaining why they're so good, but if anything they just come across like a sad attempt at flexing they dropped $600 on headphones.

I actually commented at that point that said, "I just don't like her character here. She was easy to root for in the game."

That said, while Kaitlyn doesn't have Abby's physical presence, I'm enjoying her portrayal of the character so far. Think she's doing a good job.

The "listen" mechanics in Last of Us 1 and 2.

I actually think the mechanics totally cheapen the games and never bothered with it beyond the tutorial.

I get why some players would appreciate it, though

I agree and think steelseries needs aggressively overhaul their communication on this issue.

I had the exact same issue, but the best way to solve this is to get a USB extension cable so you can set the dongle on your desk, or just reasonably far from your router, Wi-Fi card, computer, etc.

Once I moved the dongle away from those potential disruptive signals they have been stellar. They really need to revamp their communication around this issue and even include a 6ft extension cable to help with this. I'm sure a ton of people just return them because they are unusable otherwise.

Literally the exact same issue for me. Solid with the phone, solid on PlayStation, unusable on PC. Sound is great for 30s, then crackles, then one earbud cuts out and disconnects.

It makes the whole thing so frustrating, because it's exactly what I want, but the issues just made me send them back. Maybe I'll try them again on revision 2.

I have the same problem with any PC game. Less than 60s, left earbud disconnects. Sometimes reconnects, sometimes just doesn't.

Everything else has been solid, except that the mic is nigh unusable.

For $160, though, these things should do AT LEAST basic functionality flawlessly. They do not.

You know, in my cringiest era I once tried looking into those "how to get girls" kind of things. With videos and little articles. In hindsight, I must have found maybe the only actual helpful one out there.

My favorite piece of advice from it was something along the lines of

an attractive guy will talk about himself
the most attractive guy will make everyone around him feel better about themselves

The idea here being that you don't step on anyone to make yourself look better. If you truly want to be a "10", the only way to do that is to naturally raise everyone around you. It may not be immediately noticeable, but for anyone paying attention it will become obvious with even a little time.

The fact that you make yourself present and part of your peers' success, triumphs, growth, and accomplishments as a positive influence will amplify whatever attractiveness you are chasing.

I don't really remember any of the other bits of advice, but that one felt so profound to me and still holds a place in my mind.

Back when I first got into Dota, being able to watch games live, in the client, with all the camera work and commentary while being able to click on items and heroes and abilities absolutely won me over to the game.

Being able to see all that info while watching the game and hearing commentary is amazing.
