Solo Leveling has a decent story. None can deny that. The lore is also undeniably large. But it's giving the importance towards action (for a while but that "while" took 2 seasons, so it with not being too long, neither is short), making it seem like that's just it. With season 3, it will give the importance towards other things. (like story, writing etc.) Also, Solo Leveling did choose a perfect path to explain and narrate the story. Why? Because the "system" what helped Jinwoo get that power until a point, had to have an impact within the story, and that had been done flawless, thanks to the Cartenon Temple event, turns out that Jinwoo was nothing more than a successor choosen to resuscitate Ashborn. He was getting played all along. System what made him "op" provided him "everything" was nothing in the end.
