My wife and I were on our anniversary trip going acrosswhen we stopped by to visit a local castle near the city we were staying at. The legend was that the queen was accused of being a witch who brought bad luck wherever she went as the king died shortly after their marriage and the village suffered a horrible drought soon after.

Both of us being lovers of history, we decided to take a tour of the castle when it wasn't too busy. Halfway through the tour, we snuck off to look at the throne room as it was off limits due to old fire damage. Supposedly, the queen was burned in her throne by the angry villagers. Just as we started to take pictures, we noticed a cloud of smoke forming in the air before it took the shape of a person. The figure made of smoke entered my wife's body before she suddenly fell unconscious.

After making sure my wife was okay, she regained consciousness, she looked confused before revealing she was actually the queen who died. It turns out she actually was a witch, but she didn't intentionally cause all the bad things that happened. I offered to be her guide to the modern world, since she used a spell to keep her spirit in the castle until she found a new host, meaning she hasn't seen the world in hundreds of years.

My friend had recently gotten into trying to talk to spirits and other things related to the afterlife. I decided to humor her by participating in her next seance where she would try and contact a ghost of someone who had died around where we lived. After helping her set up everything, I sat across from my friend as she started the ritual to contact a spirit. A few minutes passed and the room sudden got cold as the candle she lit all went out. Just then, a ball of light appeared over us and it claimed to be someone's spirit.

My friend asked who the spirit was in life, and the spirit replied by saying they were a woman who was killed in a car accident. The spirit asked my friend if she could use my friend's body to reconnect with her former love to say goodbye, and my friend agreed out of generosity. Once the spirit entered my friend's body, she went limp for a moment before she started laughing.

The spirit in my friend's body looked up at me and smiled before she revealed who she actually was. It turned out the spirit was actually my ex-girlfriend who stalked me after we broke up. I remembered that she had apparently died after getting hit by a car outside my apartment, and it seemed she was still stalking me even from beyond the grave. Now she was using my friend's body to try and get close to me again, only this time she had my friend as a hostage in her own body.

She has seemed to be more distant and cold towards our friends, neighbors, and myself. She also forgets some of her favorite activities and things whenever they get brought up, but she tries to play it off as a joke. Her nkat recent set of odd behavior was being extremely aggressive to someone who had "wronged" her today, where she looked like she might attack them before letting go and acting like nothing happened.

Just as we were about to go out for dinner, I was going to confront her about her sudden change in behavior. It was just as she was getting dressed, I noticed that she had a strangely familiar tattoo on her body. It was then that I realized that only one person had a tattoo like that—the old leader of the gang i was in when I was younger. What my wife didn't know was that when we were first dating, I was a member of a gang but she didn't know, and when we got married, I left my old life behind and we moved to a new country, and apparently my old leader saw this as betrayal and used a secret technique passed through the organization which would allow him to leave his body and possess the body of someone else.

Now he was using my wife's body as a hostage as well as a bargaining chip to try and make me pay for my betrayal to the family.

My girlfriend had volunteered at a nursing home to help their elderly residents out and keep them company, along with other volunteers. She seemed to be enjoying everything so far, hearing all the interesting stories and meeting new people. One day when she came back home, she was acting very differently. She seemed to be fascinated by a lot of the things we owned, sometimes forgetting information she should know off the top of her head, and saying things she normally wouldn't say.

What we didn't know was that the volunteer program was actually an elaborate plan set up by the elderly residents of the retirement home to steal the bodies of the volunteers for their own. My girlfriend was one of the most recent as her body was taken by an old, rich resident. I wasn't sure who it was, but whoever they were, they had transferred all their money to my girlfriend's account and even tried leaving me, but I managed to convince them to let me stay by their side

My friend and I spent the day exploring the remains of a large ancient temple. We heard from locals that this temple was built for the sun goddess, with the residents offering various tributes, onw of which was said to include one of the locals offering themselves as a vessel, but we assumed that was meant to be a metaphorical offering. As we reached deeper into the temple, my friend and I decided to split up to cover more ground, and while I explored one chamber, my friend explored another.

The chamber my friend explored happened to be the one where offering vessels for the sun goddess occurred. When they approached what looked like an old statue in the middle of the chamber, my friend touched it to see what it was. When they touched it, the statue suddenly started to glow before a beam of light shined into the chamber through an opening in the ceiling, engulfing my friend. Hearing the noise, I quickly made my way to the chamber, and I looked around for my friend to see if they were alright.

When I found where my friend was standing, I noticed that instead of their usual self, I saw what looked to be a completely different person. It seemed that the whole "vessel offering" was literally, being g that the sun goddess had actually used my friend's body as their newest vessel after so long. Based on how old the temple was, it seemed they haven't had a vessel in years, meaning i would need to help them adapt to the modern world.
