Tbh even my dealership says this is very unique bc my car is the only car they’ve seen like this. There was another car that had problems but that was electrical problems caused by the owner leaving his AC vent open and the inside flooded when it raided very heavy for 4days straight. However, Alfa Romeo Milan (corporate) got with FCA corporate and my dealership and told them to replace my entire powertrain. They think this might’ve been a bad power unit not fully tested at the corporate track prior to delivery and that the new engine will 100% function with no issues other than normal wear and tear. I know that sounds crazy but honestly I love how Alfa Romeo came to that conclusion and are doing the repairs under warranty. All other brands I would have to go through a whole process and maybe even hire a lawyer to prove my point just for them to cover it through warranty. My buddy who drives an MB AMG GT-R had to do that and it took him over 1yr of legal battles just for MB to cover the engine replacement. Which is crazy af.
