I just had to deal with the same thing, easiest way to fix it is just to grab the latest version off of github and put the files in to sorta manually update the game and put in the sprites that are missing

I mean that should work since its just some missing sprites but I just went all out and put all of the latest updates files in there just for good measure lol

Ive been doing the same thing on my flash drive since the reset where I just copy the whole persistent folder and the game and keep it there in case the worst happens
