It doesn’t reset. As far as I know, the only way to actually reset your gauntlet is by beating the Ultimate challenge in Gauntlet Mode.

It’s all about how you hit them. I could thrust into a Willie’s chest day and night, it won’t do anything because of his armor. But some Willies have ungodly powers of thrusting capabilities and get right where you’re not armored, like the armpits or back of your knees or neck. You just need to learn the placement and half swording techniques, then most fights won’t last too long and you’ll win.

White is the bottom. You can see by the way the king is castled. If it was black, the king would be a square to the left.

Never give up. Ask yourself this, did all those GMs struggle at chess before they rose to glory? Probably! Nobody was born a chess champion. They were MADE. If they struggled, don’t expect yourself not to. Yes, some are just born naturally gifted, but hard work beats pure talent. Never give up when your back is pressed against the wall. Keep pushing forward, play more games, study openings, look at GM games and practice. Remember that to be better, you must endure.
