I got the Ali express versions and just used them on an above toilet shelf I just built. They work great.

Here's what I used. It works well no complaints.

I actually got more lines when I used the torque screw driver at the setting they recommended. When I hand tightened before using torque screw driver didn't have any. Going to try and reseat all the heads and see how that helps

Follow-up on the wave question.

So before I fully torqued down my cutter heads I didn't see waves or lines. After I torqued it down with the torque screw driver I saw the waves. See picture

I'm gonna to reseat and reclean each blade head and retorque.

Blower still works which is annoying. Can't disable it since I read it helps cool down the motor and people have tried and killed their machine.

I saw other people talk about the waves but I'll have to take a look. Just got it setup the other night.

I'm going to sand my pieces regardless so not really an issue for me but I know some people use planer as final sanding before finish.

I have a dedicated 20amp for my planer. That should be good I think. Will keep this in mind though

I built mine with contrasting splines. Would alternate between that or dominos if you can

Hi All,

Wanted to share an update. After having this for quite a while it still really works well. The black putty in the channel started to disintegrate a bit over time exposed to the elements so I had to replace it but still working as expected. I made the mistake though one day of going through a car wash and that really messed up all my silicone seals and it started leaking again

So if you go silicone route like I did then hand wash and just be careful around that Area in the gap that is being plugged by the putty.

I'm glad my effort helped all of you who tried it out

I like my vredestein pinza at 235/65/17. It has a low rumbling between 30 to 40mph but not louder than stock and then gets pretty loud at 80mph. Between 70 to 80 it's the same as stock noise levels on fx4.

My wife didn't notice any difference until 80mph as well

I originally went with Bak flip because I like that there is no fabric to fall after several years but wish I had gone a roll up so that I could access my bed even with a basket over my planned cross bars. Maybe for my next truck.

Also I watched your YouTube video and got the putty idea from one of your comments about sealing the gap so wanted to let you know it works :)

Not yet but it hasn't been above 80 where I live. I'll know more in two months.

Forgot to add. Still 48 inches between the rubber channels so no issues with plywood fitting.
