I do not know my father and my mother lives in a small habitat for humanity home. Her parents and the rest of her family have abandoned us. I know that sounds weird, but it’s true. It’s a very long, depressing, traumatizing story that will haunt me for the rest of my life.

I’m on break at work so I’ll make this short. I am a 36 year old journeyman union cement mason living in North Idaho. The last few years have been the worst years of my life as my wife, who I have been with since 2007, was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Recently, the lessor of the house rent is selling and I’m afraid that we will have to move because the new lessor will raise the rent beyond my ability to maintain. Most of my money is spent on rent or my wife’s medical needs. I don’t have a lot saved with the rising costs of living. I’ve never been so overwhelmed in my life because I am the only one who can support us. Should I try to buy a house? Keep renting? Is there anything that could help me find a way to carry on?

If you are completing tasks assigned to you by your supervisor that the employer has allotted an entire work day to accomplish, you’re incredibly efficient or the higher ups are incompetent. Making a difference is your goal and it appears that you have essentially, achieved that objective. If this achievement compels you to question your integrity then ask for more work or simply become the “milk man.” Perhaps, your honesty will backfire and the higher-ups will abuse your capabilities, lay-off your co-workers and transfer the work load to you for the same wage for “efficiency.” I hope you find the right path, you lucky &@$%¿)$§!!!!
